What inspired you to start in this career field and what do you enjoy most about it?
I have always wanted to help others and being in the nursing field allows me to do that in several ways. The thing I enjoy most is being a voice for those who are unable to use their own.
How long have you been with Feinberg Consulting and what do you love most about working here?
I have been working at Feinberg Consulting since December 2020. Feinberg Consulting provides such a positive environment with so much support for their employees.
What are some important lessons that you have learned over the years?
Be kind to others. It costs nothing and you never know what others are going through and the impact that a little kindness can have on someone.
What helped you adapt to change during the COVID-19 pandemic this past year?
Being able to spend time with my dog and starting new hobbies like gardening and playing guitar.
What are 5 words that best describe yourself?
Creative, compassionate, loyal, kind, and funny.
Do you have any pets? If so, how many/what are their names?
I have a lab/pitt mix named Cooper. I rescued him when I was living in North Carolina. He only has one eye.
Tell us about your favorite hobby.
My favorite hobby is dancing. It helps me get out of my head and be present.
What is your favorite sport/sports team?
Unfortunately, the Detroit Lions…
What do you do for self-care that you recommend to others?
I think the most important thing to do for self-care is to get outside and move your body. Even better if you can find a friend to be outside and active with!
What is your favorite book or one that has had a significant influence on your life?
I recently read The Choice by Edith Eva Eger. It is Edith Eger’s story beginning with surviving the Holocaust to becoming a renowned clinical psychologist. It is a story of healing and forgiveness and I highly recommend it.
Where is your favorite place to travel?
My favorite place to travel so far has been Portugal. It is a beautiful country, and the food is delicious!
What genre of music, or which artist(s), do you prefer?
Anything that can be turned up loud while driving in the car and I can sing along to.
What inspires you to remain in this field of work?
Knowing I am making a difference in the lives of others.
What are you most looking forward to in the future?
Being able to travel abroad again.
