“To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors.” – Tia Walker
I’m continually inspired by the wisdom, stories, resilience, and love of our elders, along with the connections they share with their families. Supporting them through life’s challenges is a privilege I approach with deep gratitude and humility.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and am currently completing my Master of Science in Nursing Informatics. I also hold a number of certifications related to movement science and nutrition, and I’m always eager to learn more. I’ve worked in a variety of healthcare settings, with a focus on older adult care.
Supporting my own family in navigating complex health challenges and the healthcare system shaped my path into nursing and strengthened my commitment to preventive health and building stronger, healthier communities. I’m grateful for opportunities to give back and grow alongside others through community volunteering and Leadership Oakland Class 35, both of which continue to deepen my understanding and reinforce the values that guide my work.
As part of the Feinberg Consulting team, I’m dedicated to improving patient outcomes through compassionate, innovative, and high-impact care optimization. The difference is often found in the details—identifying needs, filling in gaps, connecting the dots, and ensuring our seniors receive the thoughtful, coordinated support they deserve.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with loved ones and being out in nature, whether hiking, cycling, or walking through our wonderful parks and trails. I also love exploring new places and trying different plant-based recipes. Results vary greatly, but laughter and shared bites make every experiment worthwhile!
