Treatment Planning & Recommendations

Every individual’s story is different. What’s more, effective treatment has to reflect this story, considering each person’s unique needs, aims, and capacities.

Assessment and treatment planning are some of the most important stages of the recovery process. It’s where we get to know each person, gain a comprehensive understanding of their condition, and determine a treatment plan that works for them. This process lays the foundations for lasting, effective recovery that matches the client’s individual needs.

At Feinberg Consulting, when a person of concern or their loved one approaches us for help, our team of experts conducts an in-depth evaluation that explores the psychological, social, emotional, and physical needs of each client. We then combine our extensive knowledge of services across the country with our expertise in addiction treatment to determine a recovery plan, connecting each client with the treatment providers that best suit their story.

We understand the stress you may be experiencing if your loved one is if your loved one is struggling. We’re here to take on the burden, guiding you through the process so you can feel secure and supported.

Extensive Assessment Process

Each individual has experienced such a unique path that has made them who they are, impacting their health and needs in a complex manner. For this reason, the Feinberg team conducts in-depth assessments to deeply understand how we can improve overall well-being as thoroughly as possible and determine the most appropriate care options. We use various tools to discern what physical, behavioral, psychological, and emotional issues are contributing to your loved one’s struggles.

From Assessment to Individualized Treatment Planning

Navigating medical, mental health, and or addiction challenges can be highly complex. By creating individualized, holistic treatment plans, meaningful healing can take place. This is why we are so committed to completing such thorough assessments. They allow our experienced staff members to build personalized treatment plans.

What Is an Assessment?

An assessment is a comprehensive process designed to understand the full picture of an individual’s situation, not just symptoms or behaviors. It explores mental and emotional health, substance use patterns when present, physical considerations, and the underlying factors that may be influencing how someone is coping or functioning.

Effective assessments look at the person as a whole, considering psychological, behavioral, physical, and social dynamics together. By understanding how these pieces interact, we’re able to provide clearer insight and make more informed, individualized care recommendations that support meaningful and lasting progress.

After the Assessment

Once we’ve completed the assessment process, we’ll explore further options. This could include discussing treatment with the person of concern and, where possible, other family members. We’re committed to respecting the individuality and autonomy of every person struggling with substance use and aim to include them in the process as much as possible. We also appreciate the role that the family system has to play in addiction recovery and seek to address the well-being and concerns of all loved ones affected by addiction.

Real Support for Real Life

When designing their treatment plan, we’ll use our extensive expertise, experience, and connections with treatment providers across the nation to identify the best services for them. We’ll consider the level of care, the location of the center, the cost, the selection of treatment modalities offered, and many other factors. We’ll discuss these recommendations with the person of concern and family members and work together to finalize their plan.

Some of the different treatment options available include:

Residential treatment
Intensive outpatient programs
Support groups
Social and legal support
Recovery Coaching

Recovery from substance use disorders and process addictions isn’t easy. It’s an ongoing process that requires continued dedication and support. While spending the right amount of time in treatment is important, this doesn’t all have to be in a residential program (and some people will not require residential treatment at all). We’ll help clients move between levels of care and different recovery solutions according to their progress and stage in their treatment.
