Feinberg Hope Foundation

Addiction, substance abuse, and mental health disorders have plagued society for generations. While they all remain prevalent today, the cost of care is high, leading to challenging financial barriers that get in the way of individuals and families seeking the treatment and recovery resources they need. A tremendous number of adolescents, young adults, and their families suffer needlessly due to the devastation caused by addiction and mental health conditions. A major contributor to the suffering is the high cost of addiction and mental health treatment that prevents people from accessing the quality care they need. Even with medical insurance, the insurance company’s reimbursements are not sufficient to cover the cost of treatment.

Feinberg Hope Foundation was created to reduce the financial barriers to care for adolescents and young adults in need while providing compassionate guidance, individualized treatment recommendations, and the tools necessary for lifelong recovery. Feinberg Hope Foundation is a donor-restricted fund within The Children’s Foundation. The Children’s Foundation is the largest funder dedicated solely to advancing the health and wellness of children and families in the state of Michigan and beyond. Money raised for Feinberg Hope Foundation will be awarded as scholarships for adolescents and young adults in need of care.

A Mission to Save Lives

Feinberg Hope Foundation will create and grant scholarships, aiding in the recipient receiving the comprehensive treatment plans they need. Scholarships granted will allow recipients to access a wide variety of services they otherwise would not be able to receive.

Supporting this fund not only leads to helping individual families but also can aid in igniting the flame that ultimately can change the future of addiction and mental health treatment. Feinberg Hope Foundation and its successes can be used as a model for transforming care leading to better outcomes.

“Throughout my life and career, I have witnessed so many people who want help yet do not have the financial ability to receive it. Feinberg Hope Foundation provides financial support for those who cannot otherwise receive the treatment they need to heal and transform their lives. Hope is the foundation of where people can be to start their recovery journey. The ability of the Feinberg Hope Foundation to provide support, hope, and access to services will be tremendous for many who are suffering.”
