Amy D'Archangelo, BS, CAC
Clinical Manager
My personal philosophy is people won’t always like me if I’m speaking my truth and doing the right thing. Getting uncomfortable is necessary for change to happen; I’m okay with making people uncomfortable if I know I can help them. I always hope they can see it’s from a caring place and others will do the same with me.
I also have mantras that carry me through difficult times. My favorite mantra is “It’s always darkest before the dawn.”
I graduated from the University of Rio Grande with a degree in Business Marketing in 1998. After getting sober, I struggled to find meaning and passion in business, so I began working in this field. I later returned to school and received a BS in Psychology from Lynn University. I’m also a Certified Addiction Counselor. I believe that my greatest knowledge comes from my experience in recovery and from my experience working with families and others for close to twenty years.
There’s something special about watching people struggle to get better and find peace in their lives; I can’t see myself doing anything else. I have many role models who have helped me along the way.
I love spending time with my husband and our two kids; they’re my world. We spend most of our time playing sports and traveling. We have the best dog named Blaze, who is emotionally supported. I also volunteer on a local Little League board and try to give back to my community when possible.
