“Practice what you preach.” is a mantra that I live by.
I have been in therapy since I was two years old and have always enjoyed the experience. I always knew I wanted to pursue counseling of some type. While in graduate school, I visited Cook County Jail and spent the day observing the women’s drug treatment unit. I fell in love with their resiliency and knew this was the population I wanted to work with.
I received a BS in Psychology at Michigan State University in 2011 and then moved to Chicago to pursue graduate school. I attended the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where I graduated with an MA in Counseling Psychology, specializing in Addiction Treatment, in 2015.
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, including my nieces and my cat, Ross. I love to cook and bake, watch reality TV and do paint by numbers.
