My philosophy in life is to remain teachable and that there is always an opportunity to learn something new every day. With enough practice, we can enjoy our greatest gift, the present.

I received my bachelor’s degree in general psychology and a master’s degree in applied counseling from Lynn University, specializing in mental health and addiction. My professional journey started when I stepped into the school system as an educator working with children with special needs and their families. I realized at the time I enjoyed helping people and their families. People always told me I was a great listener and problem solver, Which led me to study more about complex mental health and substance abuse through my education. I enjoy the most seeing the “aha moment” happen; each person we work with has a moment at different stages of change that I would describe as the “aha moment” moment(whether it is a new idea, a moment of change, or a change in a loved one when they see it for the first time). It is also something that if you ever had an “aha moment,” you know exactly what I am referring to. That is what keeps me passionate about this work.

I enjoy spending time with my wife, two daughters, and golden retriever. I also enjoy spending time with friends and creating new relationships.
